It's not that bitter but it does finish dry as there's really not that much malt there. There's some sweetish and wheaty malt flavor to it and the tangerine remains, it's just not as strong as if you'd just torn the peel of one open. The flavor is not as rich and full as you might expect given the aroma but it IS a light beer at just 4% ABV and 95 calories. Wait a second, is this a hard seltzer? Only kidding. The taste is not nearly as bright and full as the aroma suggests it will be. I know that it's brewed with tangerine peels but it also includes "natural flavor". I'm not finding any malt, just tangerine, and it actually seems authentic. Notes via stream of consciousness: A rough pour has brought up a massive head of bright white foam atop a hazy light yellow-gold body. Overall the flavor and aroma of this beer are quite light and I don’t love the artificial orange flavor/aroma that has been added. O: Easy to drink with the light and slightly dry mouthfeel as well as the well hidden alcohol. Slightly crisp upfront and slightly thin/watery. M: Light bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. No perceptible hop presence and minimal bitterness is present. That is followed by slightly lighter than moderate flavors of citrus/tangerine zest + citrus/tangerine + artificial orange. T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of wheat + grainy + pale malts with a minimal amount of grainy + sugary sweetness. S: Moderate aromas of citrus/tangerine zest + citrus/tangerine + artificial orange over the top of moderate aromas of wheat + grainy + pale malts with a minimal amount of grainy + sugary sweetness. The beer has a three finger tall fizzy sudsy foamy bright white head that quickly reduces to a couple of small patches of thin film surrounded by a large patch of mottled very thin film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Weizen Bock (Tree Brewing) and a Healthy Drowsines.A: Pours a very lightly hazy pale yellow in color with moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate straw yellow + pale golden yellow + bright yellow colored highlights.Other notable and funny posts (doubtful) Yellow Snow IPA and New Years Resolutions Old Rasputin Imperial Stout (Amazing beer) Bitburger Pils and Palm Springs It is a little different and worth trying once. Maybe it was because I was watching Casino Royale finale a real bond is back! Overall 5/10 The original rating was 4/10 at the Beer fest. I couldn't relax because I knew somewhere virtual zombies were plotting against me. Ingame Enhancement 0 Sat on the couch and watched a movie. Only to be drunk on a hot day on the patio. Alcohol Content 0 5% Value +1 It was a nice, light summer beer that I would get again. Aftertaste +1 It lingers on with the same taste as the first sip but changes to a slight bitterness at the back of the mouth. Surprisingly light and refreshing, with the added tangy tangerine sweetness. There was no carbonation worth mentioning. Taste +3 It is what it is a nose of wheat beer (citrus and grain) heavily punctuated with sweet tangerine aroma. I thought it might be something the wife might like. Tangerine Wheat (Lost Coast) Ratebeer 2.98 41st percentile Beer Advocate B- I first sampled this beer at the Great Canadian Beer Festival 2008.
